A Test Engineering position where my 15 years of experience will add value to operations.

Experience:

2007 Ski Lift Electrician, Hunter Mountain, Hunter NY

Season 06-07. Worked on the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of ski lifts. Debugged and repaired numerous problems in the low voltage PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and the high voltage (DC Drive) sides.

2005-2006 Test Engineer, Curtis Instruments, Mt. Kisco NY

Supported a remote site that manufactures battery chargers and electronic instruments. Wrote LabView code for testing new products. Improved existing LabView test code. Worked with manufacturing to resolve product and test equipment failures to the component level. Upgraded equipment test stations. Validated engineering change orders. Specified equipment, estimated cost, scheduled and built test hardware as part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. Documented the test process and wrote test procedures.

2000-2003 Test Engineer, Lucent Inc, Westford Ma.

Developed test software using LabView and TestStand to fully automate product test. LabView controlled the HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) chamber, product test/diagnostics, power supplies and measurement equipment. Wrote all test procedures. Closely supported Contract Manufacturing to resolve any issues with ICT, Functional Test, ESS and Systems Test. Worked on multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) teams. Diagnostic programmer supporting diagnostic software (C/C++) on the CBX500 Multiservice WAN Switch.

1998-2000 Test Engineer, NetSilicon, Waltham Ma.

I was responsible for the support and modification of all diagnostic software (C and Assembly Language) and test software used in the Manufacturing process. The product was based on the Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) microprocessor core.

1995-1998 Manufacturing Test Engineer, Bay Networks Inc. Billerica Ma.

Responsible for supporting the mid-range router and cable modem product lines. I worked with Production, Q/A and Supplier Engineers to insure that my products met quality goals and conducted root cause analysis of failures to drive process improvements. Worked on the New Product Introduction (NPI) team for the next generation router. Estimated costs, designed the manufacturing test process, specified equipment and wrote all test software and test procedures

1992-1995 Manufacturing Test Engineer, Windata Inc. Littleton Ma.

I was responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining all elements of Windata's wireless LAN product testing. This included diagnostics, test software, training, writing test procedures, failure analysis and turnkey supplier support. I wrote the test software in C. Performed Design Verification Testing (DVT) on all follow on products.

1987-1991 Design/Test Engineer (supplemental), IBM Corp. Hawthorne, NY

I performed Beta site testing of the AMD Super Net chip set for FDDI. Designed a micro channel interface and implemented it using EEPROM and EPLD chips. Wire wrapped, debugged and tested prototype designs. I wrote the diagnostic, product test and debug software in C.
